Sahlman Seafoods of Nicaragua is a production company that farms, processes and markets raw shrimp.

Our farm is located in Isla Mangles Altos in Chinandega, Nicaragua. This year we became one of the first shrimp farms to receive the Best Practices in Aquaculture Certification from Mag For (Ministerio Agropecuario y Forestal). This certification incorporates a series of sanitary techniques from primary production practices, including animal welfare, environmental and social responsibility, food safety and traceability. The main objective of this certification is to guarantee a nutritious and healthy shrimp and responsible aquaculture.

Our plant has a 120,000lb daily maximum capacity and is located in El Viejo, Chinandega, complying with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) regulations. Our products are marketed in the European Union, United States, Mexico and Central America.
